Welcome to my humble little domain, M-iru, where I, Megan Murphy, host some of my SUPER-INCREDIBLE-SUPER-SPECIAL-FANTASTIC(except not really)AWESOME ARTWORK. I really hope you agree! And if not, well... that just sucks!

M-iru (pronounced "Em-Ee-Luu", the azn way) is actually some terrible japanophication I invented in a mad attempt at finding some thing unique and cutesy-wootsy sounding without sounding like a total twit. Needless to say, I failed on that last bit, but atleast I have a relatively unique name! "M" was just taken from my initials, because I'm creative like that. While "iru" is (if my research was correct and pure) the Japanese version of "-ing" which, incase English class has trully died for you like it nearly did for me, basically makes a word an action. So basically "M-iru" is like saying "M-ing" in English; Giving action, life, animation to the "M". Or it could just sound perverted, but I'll leave that to you to snicker about on your own time.

Incase you didn't get the jist of it already, My name is Megan Murphy. I'm a 19-year-old something-or-other graduate whose aspires to become an Animator and Graphic Novelist. I have no certificates saying that I am a professional at anything, only the experiance I've obtained in this short little life of mine. I believe in giving your all for the people you encounter so long as they return with enthusiasm, and saying please and thank you. (It goes a long way!)

My favourite colour changes faster than the seasons can change (and here in the Icy Prairies of Canada, that it quite often!) and I probably change my purse just as often. When I'm not flooding my sketchbook with lead and ink, I'm singing along to the addictive sounds of She Wants Revenge, Interpol, Animal Collective and Beirut, or tearing apart the espresso machine at my full-time job. (Oh yes, yes I am cool enough to work at a cooperation-induced-coffee-shop-chain! Oddly enough I actually quite like it! Imagine that!)

My inspirations include several artsists, online and offline alike. They include Hyung-Tae Kim, Manuel Nunez, Yamato Yamamoto, Foo*Midori, Kidchan, Aya Kato, and many many more.
